BioI'm a nearly 72 year old physician (nephrologist), married, happily, with 7 children and 10 grandchildren. My interests are diverse, from sports cars (Porsches), airplanes, sports (tennis, basketball, football,) travel, history, politics, philosophy, gardening, and that challenging dream of Peace with Justice in the Middle East - Well, I'm getting old, and far less optimistic, than even 5 years ago. I can't see talking to Hamas... While I'm dreaming, I'm also an advocate of Single Payer Health Care, and, always, of dialogue with those with different opinions. I'm undoubtedly the fastest driving former-tennis playing nephrologist in Southern California. (571 HP Porsche Twin Turbo, named, appropriately, "Torshia," with 154,000 miles on the odometer.) One of my proudest accomplishments has been flying in a World War II Supermarine Spitfire. I'm optimistic, generally,.... left, politically,.... amazed at what the internet has brought, and awfully happy to have found LJ, as I have lived in the desert (intellectually, politically, and, ecologically) here in Orange County, definitely swimming upstream.
