I found this via a link from a LiveJournal friend, suehypno who was linking another article in the same web, on a Republican with a fine far-right pedigree, who, like Bruce Fein, on the Bill Moyers PBS program last Friday, called for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney on constitutional grounds. It seems that the Right has more than the usual hypocrisy that Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter spout, but this article on Vitter really lathers up on David Vitter, a Senator that I had, frankly, never heard of, and a couple of his notorious predecessors, Newt Gingrich, Livingston, Strom Thurmond, and even, Charles Lindbergh.

Why do men, at least these men, find it necessary to champion a cause of certain righteousness while flaunting the cause with their own behavior? And, is there a similar pattern in women? Is there a hormonal basis for this behavior?
